What is a subnetwork?
NNERPP Subnetworks are specialized learning communities within NNERPP organized by topic or role. The aims of the subnetworks are to connect members that are interested in collaboratively exploring a topic or role more deeply, to provide support for the sharing and development of resources, and to create hubs of expert knowledge for the rest of the Network. We are excited to currently offer a number of active subnetworks and hope to launch additional subnetworks in the future.
Below you’ll find a short description of each type of subnetwork, with an opportunity to indicate your interest in participating by clicking on I’m interested and/or would like to nominate a friend. Each link leads to the same form where you can specify which subnetworks you are interested in participating in and/or nominate a friend or two to participate in any of the subnetworks as well.
Please note that most NNERPP Subnetworks are only open to current NNERPP members.
Active NNERPP Subnetworks
The NNERPP Topic Specific Subnetworks reflect our members’ current research areas; the goals are to strengthen relationships with fellow colleagues doing research in a particular area, to build collective expertise on a given topic, and to explore potential opportunities for cross-partnership collaborations.

For those working to center youth voices in their work now or in the future.

The NNERPP Role Alike Subnetworks will bring people together working in similar roles across RPPs, so that they may support each other, share relevant resources, and co-develop new ones. Additionally, we hope the groups also contribute to our larger understanding of their roles in RPPs.

Additionally, the subnetworks will allow members to workshop RPP-related problems, to access a support team of relevant peers, and to develop and test promising RPP practices for the broader field.

For those in communications / outreach / engagement positions within their RPP that would like to network with others in similar roles.
For those working at a State Education Agency (SEA) or within an RPP that partners with an SEA.
For those that are in the early stages of their RPP and would like to workshop problems together as well as consult with more experienced RPPs.
For those that would like to help produce practical measures (e.g., surveys, rubrics, tools) to assess RPP effectiveness.
For those that would like to collaborate with others on producing white papers or research articles on RPPs for the larger field.
For those that would like to collaborate with others to develop and test RPP strategies that will best support equity.
